The Remains of Nothing explores a state of in-betweenness. The figures resemble parts of the human body but remain unfamiliar and fragmented. Referencing both mechanical imitation and the idea of a mythical body, they appear sacred, haunted, and incomplete. They seem like relics from a forgotten story or a dream. Their gestures are not whole, but they persist in moving. Through these strange and repetitive actions, the work evokes the eerie discomfort of the uncanny valley. In this space of in-betweenness, the self is not lost but divided, multiplied, and unsettled.
