Inspired by Simone de Beauvoir’s The Second Sex, the work explores women’s position and condition within society. The blue hummingbird symbolises female strength and freedom. A hidden screen plays a video of the artist filming her own throat while speaking, creating a sense of tension between voice, body, and expression.
